Are you already running a business that uses technology in manufacturing or in the product or service?
Do you want to explore how innovation could help your company to emerge from the recession stronger?
Are you based in Edinburgh or the surrounding area?
The City of Edinburgh Council is running a series of free Business Growth Workshops in conjunction with Edinburgh Science Triangle, starting on 5th February and continuing on 26th February and 12th March.
“Innovation is a vital part of rethinking your business."
David Rogers, ProVision Communications
The workshops will use a proven approach, developed by a highly experienced business innovation trainer for NESTA (the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts to support innovative companies with growth potential.
Siân Prime has over 20 years experience as a trainer, facilitator and coach with hands-on experience of running businesses, delivering business advice and coaching entrepreneurial leaders who are growing innovative businesses. The Inspiring Innovation Growth Workshops will use material developed by the trainer at NESTA as well as her own independent work.
Workshops will take place over three full days (9.30am – 4.30pm) and will help you to explore growth in the context of your existing business and future aspirations. The sessions will focus on innovation to the business model, explore how to gain the impact that you want from your business and outline the steps that will be required to succeed. Participants will leave with a clear action plan.
Specifically, you will:
- Reflect on the sort of team required to ensure that the Innovation is able to reach its full potential.
