Scottish Institute for Enterprise provides a free service for all of Scotland's students to encourage enterprising spirit and skills, and help start-up companies become the businesses of tomorrow. We'll get you thinking actively about enterprise, involved in some of Scotland's most exciting student events, and help you get off to the best start in your career or start-up company
Our service is available throughout Scotland, as we work with all 19 Higher Education Institutions, placing an Intern or two at each. At a local level, they often have their own Enterprise Society and develop and host their own events.
For the student who has a business idea and needs support, we are readily available with our three Regional Business Advisers. They act as mentors and provide professional advice, excellent networks and do all in their ability to help the business get on its feet.
In partnership with Scottish Enterprise, we also provide a Patent fund. We can help fund the filing of Patent Applications for students and graduates – probably the most essential element before their business can begin.
Most importantly, we want to emphasise to every student in Scotland that no matter what their degree, interests or current involvement with business, they can discover a world of potential and make enterprise an active part in their life.
