Reports : Effective presentations to Venture Capitalists to raise money for R&D

From time-to-time, you may pitch an idea where you are specifically looking for cash to develop a practical application rather than approval of an idea for further research. Your potential investor is exactly that, someone looking for a return on an investment. What do you do?

In such cases, it's almost certain that you will need to make a presentation to the investor. You are likely to have a finite time, perhaps less than 15 minutes, often less.

Such presentations are not the same as traditional scientific presentations. The presentation is likely to be shorter than the question and answer segment.

In the attached article, from the Genomia web-site, Keith Winton relays a series of guidelines that are worth following. He describes 7 major categories for you to consider in preparing your presentation.
